Credit Risk Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst to join our Loss Forecasting & Portfolio Quality team within Credit Risk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing performance insights into bad debt performance, IFRS 9 provisioning, and key aspects of portfolio quality.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain complex statistical models to forecast bad debt performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance and Treasury, to ensure accurate and timely provisioning.
- Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends and patterns, and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes, and ensure our models and processes are aligned with the latest requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining statistical models, with a strong understanding of linear and logistic regression, decision trees, and other advanced techniques.
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, and Excel, with experience in data extraction, manipulation, and modelling.
- Experience in financial services or banking, with a strong understanding of IFRS 9 accounting principles and modelling.
- Highly intellectual and curious mind, with a passion for using data to solve complex problems.
