About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to lead our engineering team in the UK and overseas. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the build support, issue investigation and resolution, test coordination, and software and hardware upgrades of prototype vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the build support and investigate complex electrical issues using diagnostic software toolsets, schematics, and specifications.
  • Coordinate tests, develop and implement test plans, and generate test reports.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues in the workshop and vehicle development teams.
  • Establish and build a team to support multiple projects.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in electrical systems within an automotive workshop or OE/Tier 1 environment.
  • Good understanding of vehicle electrical networks and systems.
  • Practical experience of using laptop-based vehicle diagnostic toolchains and lab equipment.
  • Full driving licence is essential.
