About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team at Forseven. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the company's mission to revolutionise the electric vehicle industry.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting vehicle electrical systems, including build support, issues investigation/resolution, test co-ordination, software and hardware upgrades of prototype vehicles in the UK and overseas.

  • Perform fault analysis using diagnostic software toolsets, schematics, and specifications to identify and resolve vehicle and lab-car based issues.
  • Submit and update fault reports via a cloud-based issues management system and raise BCRs for build-related electrical issues.
  • Prepare prototype wiring harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies throughout the vehicle development programme.
  • Provide build support and maintenance for test vehicles, lab car, and other rigs, e.g., infotainment.
  • Support other verification/validation activities, including in-market testing, rig testing, hardware-in-the-loop testing, EMC testing, telematics, and system calibration. Generate test plans and reports.
  • Train and support colleagues in the Workshop and Vehicle Development. Establish and build a team to support multiple projects.
  • Provide information and training to Manufacturing and After-sales departments and support vehicle build.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
