Bar and Lounge Manager Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar and Lounge Manager to join our team at The Park Royal Hotel & Spa. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for leading our bar and lounge operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, working on the floor with your team to deliver outstanding guest experiences and maintain brand standards.
  • Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in the overall operation of the restaurant, bar, and conference and events areas.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and drive sales growth.
  • Manage and motivate a team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional service and achieve business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with food and beverage trends, best practices, and industry developments to ensure our offerings remain competitive and appealing to our guests.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a hospitality environment, preferably in a busy meetings and events, banqueting, and weddings venue.
  • Restaurant and bar management experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • People management experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of wines and spirits, with a passion for delivering exceptional beverage experiences.
