Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical advice and support on health, safety, and environmental issues to our infrastructure maintenance delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support, coaching, and guidance to the Infrastructure Maintenance Delivery team on workforce health, safety, and environmental issues.
  • Develop and maintain safety procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential hazards.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with trade unions, contractors, and other stakeholders to promote a positive health, safety, and environmental culture.
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure Maintenance Delivery Manager to develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant field such as occupational health and safety, engineering, or environmental science.
  • National Examination Board in Occupational Safety & Health (NEBOSH) Certificate.
  • Proven track record of delivering health, safety, and environmental projects.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave entitlement.
