About the Role

Rethink Mental Illness is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our team at Victoria Court, Wolverhampton. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental illness to regain confidence and participate in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide key worker support, including one-on-one assistance and coordinating with mental health agencies.
  • Focus on individual needs, using communication, motivation, and coaching to help them reach their goals.
  • Build respectful, honest relationships, maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to the Rethink Mental Illness Code of Conduct.
Requirements
  • Transferable life/work experience to apply to this role.
  • Knowledge and experience in IT and digital systems usage.
  • Experience of providing support to people with a mental illness; or experience of providing care and/or support services within another social care setting in either a paid or voluntary capacity or experience of support people through a mental health crisis.
  • A good listener, empathetic, understanding, kind, patient and willing to learn.
  • Can demonstrate behaviours consistent with the values of the Charity.
