About the Role

Rethink Mental Illness is a leading charity provider of mental health services in England, supporting thousands of people through our groups, services, policy, campaigns, and advice and information. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our team at Victoria Court, Wolverhampton.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide key worker support, including one-on-one assistance and coordination with mental health agencies.
  • Focus on individual needs, using communication, motivation, and coaching to help service users achieve their goals.
  • Build respectful, honest relationships, maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to the Rethink Mental Illness Code of Conduct.
  • Assist with cleaning tasks and contribute to a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • Transferable life/work experience relevant to this role.
  • Knowledge and experience in IT and digital systems usage.
  • Experience of providing support to people with mental illness or experience in care and/or support services in a social care setting.
  • A good listener, empathetic, understanding, kind, patient, and willing to learn.
  • Ability to demonstrate behaviours consistent with the values of the Charity.
