About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the credit control team's objectives and participate in the continuous improvement of the team's administration and processes.

In this role, you will report directly into the Credit Manager and be responsible for monitoring, chasing, and controlling a portion of the Sales Ledger while maintaining strong customer/colleague relationships.

  • End-to-end Credit Control chasing by telephone, e-mail, and letter in line with the agreed Credit Control Chase process, in a high-volume environment, to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Work with the invoicing team and Regional Managers to resolve any disputes that may lead to delayed payments.
  • Record Chase Information on SAGE Accounts and Credit Control Spreadsheets.
  • Sending Final Demand notices to delinquent clients, when required.
  • Monthly reporting to the Regions and the Credit Manager including debtor levels and overdue accounts.
  • Prepare files for the in-house company solicitor when escalation is required.
