Primary Care Contract Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Manager to join our Primary Care team at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. The successful candidate will provide support to the Service Development Manager in delivering, managing, and planning General Medical Services across the Health Board.
Main Responsibilities- Collaborate with contractors, service providers, and professional committees to identify and achieve service development and improvement.
- Evaluate performance management and lead the production and delivery of specific plans and projects to meet the healthcare needs of the local population.
- Support the Service Development Manager in the delivery, contract management, and long-term strategic planning of General Medical Services.
- Educated to degree level or relevant experience.
- Post-graduate diploma or management qualification and/or equivalent experience in the primary care area.
- Knowledge and understanding of Primary Care contracts and how they are applied.
- Strong understanding of government policy in relation to health and social care.
- Experience of change management, managing resources well, and ensuring services are delivered.
