Early Years Leader Job Description

At Ultimate Activity Camps, we're seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Leader to join our team at Davenies Prep School in Beaconsfield. As an Early Years Leader, you'll play a vital role in delivering a fun and engaging programme for our Ultimate Juniors, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery of a high-quality Early Years programme, adhering to EYFS requirements and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all children.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging sports, arts, and crafts activities, tailored to the needs and abilities of our 4- and 5-year-old campers.
  • Direct and support a team of Early Years staff, promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Ensure Ofsted requirements are met, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents and guardians.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including sign-in/out, registration, and other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or Primary Education, with significant experience working with 4- and 5-year-olds.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to lead a group of children and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and its application in a camp setting.
  • Proven ability to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges, with a passion for delivering high-quality childcare.
