We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Critical Care Nurse to join our team in providing urgent medical services to the practice populations of Central Area.
The successful candidate will work flexibly as part of a triage nurse rota, covering weekdays, and will be responsible for utilizing triage support templates to assess and evaluate patient information, diagnose problems, and reach clinical conclusions in accordance with agreed protocols and guidance.
Main Duties
- Utilize clinical guidelines, protocols, policies, and procedures to assess patient needs and deliver clinical care and advice.
- Prioritize all contacts received and organize the allocation of consultation appointments.
- Administer therapies as prescribed and provide basic general nursing care and assistance in emergency situations.
- Monitor workload situations to ensure all contacts are made within agreed standards and timescales.
- Support the Lead Nurse in ensuring adequate nurse cover for each shift.
