Electrical Engineer Industrial Placement Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Magnet Power Supplies (MPS) Group as an Industrial Placement Student. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of our pulsed power supplies design capability.
Key Responsibilities- Gather requirements and model power supply sub-systems
- Simulate and prototype power supplies
- Test and report results
The MPS Group is responsible for the operations and development of all power supplies for the magnets on the accelerator. Our team works on a range of equipment, including DC power supplies, resonant circuits, and pulsed power systems.

- Evidence of practical experience through university labs
- Evidence of experience using CAD and/or ECAD software
