Chief Sustainability Strategist

Our Environment, Nature, and Consents business is looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to contribute to a growing pipeline of exciting opportunities across various sectors, including energy, ports/marine, defence, water, rail, and urban development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering projects in diverse sectors and locations, with expertise in environmental assessment, EIA, SEA, relevant UK environmental planning legislation, and ESG strategy development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading EIA screening and scoping, the production of Environmental Statements, and other environmental reports.
• Assisting with monitoring programs, resources, and finances on environmental projects.
• Supporting business development and proposal writing for environmental services.
• Mentoring and line managing environmental team members.
• Opportunities to develop technical specialisms and coordinate environmental workstreams.

Requirements:

• Excellent track record in delivering environmental projects in various sectors.
• Experience working in client-facing environments and influencing stakeholders.
• Strong planning and management skills, with ability to produce high-quality deliverables.
• Ability to work in diverse teams and lead teams to produce excellent results.
