About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our regional mobile team in the North West. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance and reactive repairs across multiple disciplines, with a focus on air conditioning and refrigeration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the highest standards and Atlas competencies are delivered and demonstrated.
  • Deliver portfolio PPM and minor works, ensuring accuracy and best value for money.
  • Provide technical support, advice, and guidance to customers and team members.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a quality service, aiming for 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Report on performance to the Technical Service Manager.
  • Ensure safe delivery of all Atlas works, including those of our service partners.
  • Produce details of time and materials required for any minor works for quoting purposes.
  • Liaise with account support, supervisors, managers, and sub-contractors to deliver work to the highest standard within SLA.
  • Build and foster relationships with customers, other Atlas colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the Maximo system is constantly updated via your issued tablet, and that all time is accounted for on the generated timesheet.
  • Take ownership of the standard of work delivered, ensuring exceptional service to customers.
  • Cover all call-out responsibilities out of hours when rostered.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in mobile engineering and property maintenance, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar environment. You should have a good understanding of modern office software and experience working with asset/work management systems such as Maximo/Cafm systems on Android tablets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles of air conditioning and refrigeration, as well as experience in working with F-Gas regulations. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Qualifications, Certifications, and Training Required
  • NVQ level 3 in the given trade.
  • Qualified Air Conditioning Engineer.
  • City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas Regulations (Cat1).
