Job Title: Air Conditioning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team at Atlas Workplace Services. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance and reactive repairs across multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the highest standards of maintenance and repair are delivered, adhering to Atlas Workplace Services competencies.
  • Deliver portfolio PPM and minor works, ensuring accuracy and best value for money.
  • Manage and administer F-Gas registers, providing support to the management of the F Gas Register on a large university estate.
  • Provide technical support, advice, and guidance to customers and team members.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a quality service, aiming for 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Report on performance to supervisors and contract managers.
  • Ensure safe delivery of all works, including those of our service partners.
  • Produce details of time and materials required for minor works, for quoting purposes.
  • Liaise with account support, supervisors, managers, and sub-contractors to deliver work to the highest standard within SLA.
  • Build and foster relationships with clients, customers, and other Atlas Workplace Services colleagues.
  • Ensure the Maximo system is constantly updated, and all time is accounted for on generated timesheets.
  • Take ownership of the standard of work delivered, ensuring exceptional service to customers.
  • Cover all call-out responsibilities out of hours, when rostered.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Air Conditioning Engineer.
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in the given trade(s).
  • City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas Regulations (Cat1).
  • Fully time-served apprenticeship in the given trades.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Good understanding of modern office software and experience working with asset/work management systems, such as MAXIMO/CAFM systems on Android tablets.
  • Strong, demonstrable competencies in dealing with all makes of A/C split units, as well as VRV/VRF systems.
