Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at HS2 Ltd. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team to manage the procurement and delivery of the Automated People Mover contracts within the wider Interchange Station and Automated People Mover Team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Project Managers to effectively and efficiently manage the construction contracts within an Integrated Project Team.
- Establish, monitor and manage the delivery of consistent contract management, including identification of emergent or systemic problems, leading to resolution.
- Manage and monitor contract performance, review and accept programme schedules, and proactively manage risks within the Integrated Project Team scope.
- Support the delivery of client retained third party works and services by being the interface with HS2 employees external to the Integrated Project Team.
- Actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work, and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.
- Project Management - the ability to develop, plan and integrate projects to optimise target costs, dependencies, risk management and project benefits.
- Problem Solving - the ability to identify problems and review related information in order to manage the development and evaluation of options and implementation of solutions.
- Decision Making - the ability to identify, manage, gather and synthesise the necessary information and facilitate the identification of options and the application of judgement based on logic and reason.
- Influencing & Negotiating - the ability to influence and negotiate with internal functions and external supply chain partners.
- Building Relationships - Ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to resolve emergent risk situations.
