About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer - Pipeline Installation to join our team at Subsea 7, a global leader in the delivery of offshore projects and services for the energy industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a team of method engineers to follow project scope(s) from early engagement with internal and external clients through to offshore execution on board our reel lay assets.
  • Be a technical reference for pipeline installation and contribute to the selection of sub-contractors.
  • Produce installation method statements and procedures, support procurement activities, and subcontract follow-up.
  • Proactively support Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) activities and prepare and deliver technical presentations.
  • Assist in the development of feasibility studies, method statements, manhour estimates, schedule inputs, and costing support.
  • Support the procurement, fabrication, and testing of installation aids.
  • Follow project scope offshore on our installation vessels.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Marine, Naval, Offshore Technology, Civil, or Mechanical, or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience as a project engineer, with the majority of this experience from within the offshore energy industry.
  • Experience or understanding of offshore pipeline installation methods, ideally within the reel lay discipline (i.e., Reel Lay, J-Lay, S-Lay).
  • Experience of guiding and leading teams of engineers in project scopes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to speak with all levels within the business.
