At Mitie, we're seeking a skilled and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team. As a key member of our cleaning staff, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Salary: £12.00 per hour, with a total weekly contractual hours of 40

About the Role: In this exciting opportunity, you'll be responsible for ensuring equipment is kept clean, well-maintained, and safe to use. You'll work closely with your team to achieve outstanding results and consistently meet our Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will make a real difference to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the site
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and chemicals are properly stored, used, and maintained
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to queries and concerns promptly

Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess basic English communication skills and be able to read written instructions. Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential. You'll also need to be flexible, self-driven, and determined, with a professional attitude and strong work ethic.
