Senior Visual Designer Position
===============

We are seeking a Senior Visual Designer to join our team at Amazon EU SARL (UK Branch). The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual communication, typography, color, and user-centered design solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**
-------------------

* Present concepts and produced work to stakeholders and internal customers, including senior management.
* Understand and respond to performance data (metric tests, usability studies), and steer the direction of future creative designs.
* Understand usability principles that help drive successful design.
* Work cross-team, lead the design process, and synthesize feedback and input from stakeholders.
* Quickly turn around detailed comps/mockups in an iterative environment.
* Work closely with art directors to influence best practice photo direction for each placement.

**Basic Qualifications**
---------------------

* Online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating strong visual communication, a deep understanding of typography, color, print and digital executions, and great user-centered design solutions.
* 8+ years of relevant experience with visual design.
* Highly proficient in Figma, Adobe Suite, and related design and production software.
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as visual communications or graphic design.
* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Effective cross-team collaborator with the ability to work across multiple creative projects.
* Expert understanding of the web production process; familiarity with post-production retouching.
* Experience in driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote
* Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions
* Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery
* Experience managing creative (internal team of designers, copywriters, external agencies and freelancers)
* Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives
* Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
