Renewable Energy Systems Designer

We are seeking a talented Junior / Graduate Heating & Renewables System Designer to join our team at the McInnes Group in Inverness. As a key member of our design team, you will assist in the design of domestic heating and renewable energy systems, collaborating with senior designers and engineers to develop innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop domestic and small commercial heating and renewable energy systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with project delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of system designs, working closely with clients and team members to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your technical knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies.
- Develop a strong understanding of renewable technology and its application in both residential and small commercial settings, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- A strong interest in renewable energy and heating systems, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills in a fast-evolving industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with renewable energy systems, such as heat pumps, solar PV, and battery storage, with a basic understanding of heating and renewable systems.
