About the Role

We are seeking an ESG Sustainability Specialist to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. The successful candidate will support the ESG Manager in ensuring the company's corporate reputation on Supply Chain, Ethical & Environmental responsibility and sustainability agenda is developed both internally and externally, while delivering long-term brand value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and record sustainability certificates across all raw materials from mills and suppliers to ensure we can substantiate our sustainable claims.
  • Understand standards such as the Textile Exchange suite, Leather Working Group, and GOTS.
  • Support the ESG Manager with supply base ESG initiatives.
  • Manage and keep up to date third-party licenses, contracts, and memberships with sustainable partners.
  • Work with the ESG Manager to support supplier introduction, onboarding, and ongoing initiatives regarding ESG.
  • Liaise with Production, Buying, Design, and Technical on day-to-day ESG supplier management.
  • Work with suppliers and support the ESG Manager on improving the visibility of their ESG initiatives and claims.
  • Support the wider team in delivering departmental ESG strategy.
  • Ensure all ESG information is updated for supplier set-ups.
  • Provide administrative support to the ESG Manager.
