At Barclays, we're committed to delivering immersive experiences, transformative development, and incredible support to our graduates. Our Graduate Programmes are designed to give each graduate the best possible start to their career, with bespoke training, courses on our e-learning platform, and opportunities to work on meaningful projects.

Why Choose the Quantitative Analytics Graduate Programme?

This 1-2 year targeted, fast-track programme is focused on developing specialist technical expertise in statistical modeling, data science, and quantitative analysis. As a Quantitative Analytics Graduate, you'll work closely with experienced professionals to deliver solutions that support the bank's operations, including finance, treasury, fraud surveillance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply advanced quantitative techniques to solve business problems, including research, development, and implementation of new models and solutions.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Design, develop, and support the quantitative research framework using C++, Python, and other in-house domain-specific languages.
  • Train and mentor junior colleagues.
  • Take ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking motivated and curious individuals with a strong background in mathematics, statistics, or a related field. Ideally, you'll have programming skills in Java, C++, or Python, and a knack for logical thinking and creative problem-solving. If you're passionate about data analysis and want to make a meaningful impact, this programme is an excellent opportunity to grow and learn.
