### Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at St Teresa's, a single-storey home for 27 adults with physical disabilities in Penzance. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers, visitors, and staff.

### Key Responsibilities

* Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the service, ensuring a safe environment for all
* Carry out general cleaning duties, using appropriate materials and equipment in accordance with COSHH
* Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including weekends and occasional sickness/holiday cover
* Participate in the weekend day enhancement scheme, earning £2.00 per hour from 7am to 8pm on Saturdays and Sundays
* Engage with customers, visitors, and staff to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere

### Requirements

* Previous experience in cleaning work, preferably in a commercial environment
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
