We are looking for a highly skilled Learning Mentor to join our team at a special needs high school in the Salford area.

As a Learning Mentor, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to develop and implement individualised education plans. You will create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation, and liaise with external professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Job Summary:

  • Assist students with SEN in overcoming barriers to learning and achieving their full potential
  • Develop and implement individualised education plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Liaise with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration

This is a full-time, long-term role available for an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have experience working within schools or the education sector, specifically supporting students with SEN. A strong understanding of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH obstacles, is also essential.
