Project Manager - Highways and Rail Infrastructure

Luxoft is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead and deliver successful, large-scale IT projects and programmes within our Highways and Rail Infrastructure portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute project plans to deliver IT projects and programmes across the IT Delivery Lifecycle.
  2. Manage and allocate resources to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects.
  3. Work closely with stakeholders, sponsors, and business users to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  4. Ensure adherence to IT Governance and IT Delivery Lifecycle principles.
  5. Manage and report on project finances, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Requirements:

  1. Significant experience in leading and delivering large-scale IT projects and programmes.
  2. Proven track record in driving and delivering through others using commercial contracts.
  3. Expert knowledge of project management principles, methods, techniques, tools, and emerging trends.
  4. Formal Programme/Project Management qualification (e.g. APM/P – Certified Project Manager, Managing Successful Programmes, and Prince 2 or equivalent).
  5. Strong leadership skills, influencing skills, and ability to motivate and inspire confidence in others.
  6. High levels of flexibility, adaptability, and broad thinking.
  7. Knowledge and experience of a range of delivery/development life cycles, e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Iterative.
  8. Strong financial management skills including quality forecasting.
  9. Stakeholder management and excellent written and verbal communication.

Desirable:

  • Past experience of working within the Railway industry.
