About the Role

This fixed-term, full-time/part-time (40 hours per week) post is based in Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be part of the Department of Clinical Neurosciences (DCN), NHS Lothian.

Job Description
  • Participate in reporting general and emergency neuroradiology and head & neck CT and MR imaging.
  • Undertake neck ultrasound studies, demonstrating competence in fine needle aspiration and core biopsy where required.
  • Reporting of head and neck imaging (CT, MR and US), with supported reporting for complex head and neck, skull base and neuro imaging.

The ideal candidate will possess FRCR or equivalent qualifications and be available to start as soon as possible.

About the Team

The DCN unit provides sub-specialist services for skull base and otology teams, supporting orbital imaging for Princess Alexandra Eye Hospital. Paediatric neuroradiology and head and neck imaging are also supported by the paediatric radiology team.
