Associate Director of Cost Management

Our client, a leading Property Consultancy, is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join their Cardiff office. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing projects, assisting with financial management, and contributing to business development.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cost management, with experience working on projects within the property sector. You will be a full member of the RICS and have a proven track record of managing projects up to £20 million. Excellent communication and client-facing skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  2. Assist with financial management, including budgeting and forecasting.
  3. Contribute to business development, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with clients.
  4. Report directly to the Regional Director, providing regular updates on project progress.

Requirements

  1. Full membership of the RICS.
  2. Experience working at Associate level within a Consultancy environment.
  3. Experience working on projects within the property sector.
  4. Experience managing projects up to £20 million.
  5. Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
