**Job Title:** Senior System Programmer - Core Tech Team

 

Welcome to Splash Damage, a leading game development studio that creates immersive multiplayer experiences. We're looking for an exceptional Senior System Programmer to join our Core Tech team and contribute to the design and implementation of large-scale system features.

 

As a Senior System Programmer, you will be responsible for owning the technical design and implementation of key system features, including rendering, networking, and low-level systems programming. You will apply your expertise in data structures and algorithms to build state-of-the-art technology for PC and consoles.

 

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive salary range $120,000 - $180,000 per year, 4-day workweek, 20 days of annual leave, and extensive mental health support.

 

You will excel at writing clear, reliable, maintainable, performant, and portable code, mentoring junior team members, and championing best practices within your specialist domain. You will also interact with both technical and non-technical colleagues from all disciplines.

 

The ideal candidate will have professional game engine code experience, strong practical knowledge of C++, and a good understanding of computer science and 3D math. Experience with Unreal Engine 5 development, streaming and scalable open-world games development, and real-time low-level networked multiplayer games is a plus.
