Senior Groundskeeper

Hotel Tresanton Limited is seeking a skilled Gardener to join our team. As a Luxury Hotel Experience specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's garden, which features tropical planting and rare species. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include designing and implementing garden plans, selecting and ordering plants and materials, and collaborating with suppliers to manage costs. A degree in horticulture or a related field is preferred, along with 3+ years of experience in gardening and groundskeeping.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain the hotel's garden, including planting, pruning, and weeding
* Design and implement garden plans to enhance the hotel's aesthetic appeal
* Select and order plants and materials from suppliers, managing costs and budgets
* Collaborate with suppliers to source rare and unusual plants and materials
* Ensure areas around the garden are swept and tidy
* Work safely and efficiently, adhering to hotel standards and policies

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is approximately £30,000 per annum, plus additional benefits such as staff meals while on duty, uniform provided, employee discounts available at all three Polizzi Collection hotels, flexible schedule, and on-site parking.
