Head Gardener

Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Mediterranean Landscape Specialist to join our team at Hotel Tresanton Limited. As a senior member of our groundskeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's garden, which features a unique blend of tropical and Mediterranean plants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities include designing and implementing garden plans, selecting and ordering plants and materials, and collaborating with suppliers to manage costs. A degree in horticulture or a related field is preferred, along with 5+ years of experience in gardening and groundskeeping.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement garden plans to enhance the hotel's aesthetic appeal
* Select and order plants and materials from suppliers, managing costs and budgets
* Collaborate with suppliers to source rare and unusual plants and materials
* Ensure areas around the garden are swept and tidy
* Work safely and efficiently, adhering to hotel standards and policies

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is approximately £32,000 per annum, plus additional benefits such as staff meals while on duty, uniform provided, employee discounts available at all three Polizzi Collection hotels, flexible schedule, and on-site parking.
