Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Assembly Technician to join our expanding team at Munro Vehicles. As an assembly technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production process, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly and Quality Control: Verify dimensions and product specifications, ensure all required parts are present, and guarantee proper fitting, testing, and functionality of assembled components.
- Production Schedule Management: Maintain a production schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to assembly and workshop safety standards.
- Tool Operation and Maintenance: Demonstrate proficiency in operating workshop handheld tools and maintain them in good working condition.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production goals, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating workshop handheld tools, good dexterity, and attention to detail.
- Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and maintain a production schedule.
- Quality Focus: An exceptional eye for detail and quality of workmanship, with a strong commitment to meeting quality control standards.
- Workplace Safety: Good understanding of 'Safe working Practice' in a workshop environment, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
What We Offer
Full-time, permanent position with a competitive hourly rate (£12-14/hr) and potential for overtime. Immediate start available, with full training provided.
