At Multitech Site Services Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrician to join our Testing team. As a Senior Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the Company's compliance with current regulations and statutory requirements throughout all of our regional sites.
Main Responsibilities:- Carry out initial and periodic electrical inspections across various sites to ensure compliance with regulations and statutory requirements.
- Complete minor installation repairs, particularly in relation to earthing and mains protective arrangements, during inspection visits.
- Assist with installation and emergency call-outs as required, ensuring that works are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Perform safe isolation and issue certificates prior to disconnection and/or demolition works.
- Carry out fault finding and address any safety concerns with your line manager immediately.
- Ensure that a sufficient level of contact is maintained between yourself and your line manager to enable thorough coordination of your activities.
- Look after the Company's plant, materials, tools, and equipment on site, reporting any deficiencies and losses immediately to your line manager.
- Ensure that works on site are always carried out safely, actively seeking to minimize any health and safety risks.
- During site visits, determine if future works on site are required and relay details to your supervisor.
- Represent the company to the best of your ability at all times, liaising with our clients to help ensure that their requirements are met.
- Accurately record site information and test results using relevant certificate types on electronic software to ensure that both the correct and sufficient information is available to enable the completion of the NIC/EIC Documentation.
- Ensure that all site reports, record vouchers, and site instructions are completed and signed by site.
- Ensure that all paperwork is completed and forwarded to your line manager within the required deadlines.
- Prepare, verify, and sign off building isolation certificates.
- Demonstrable work experience in an electrical role.
- Electrical qualifications up to Electrician level.
- 2391 Test and Inspection qualification.
- Gold Card.
- 18th Edition Regulations certificate.
