Haematology Laboratory Scientist Position

We are looking for a talented Haematology Laboratory Scientist to join our team at the Birmingham Women's Hospital site. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality laboratory services, working closely with experienced scientists and healthcare professionals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including those related to Haematology and Blood Transfusion. You will work in rotation with other staff members across various sections of the department, participating in a 24/7 shift rota over a 7-day working week.

To be considered for this role, you will need a BSc in Biomedical Science or equivalent, along with registration with the HCPC. Post-registration experience in a UK Haematology/Blood transfusion department is essential, with greater than 2 years of post-registration experience being highly desirable.

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000-£55,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in delivering exceptional patient care. If you are passionate about contributing to the success of our team, please apply for this position.
