Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic childcare practitioner to join our team at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Studies and previous post-qualifying experience of working with children aged 0-4 years in a day nursery setting.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for caring for children in accordance with their individual physical, social, and psychological needs. They will work within NHS, Early Years Foundation Stage, and Ofsted's national, regional, and local guidelines relating to Day Nursery Provision.
About the Role
This is a fixed-term position to cover maternity leave, working 12 months per week on different shift patterns to meet the needs of the service. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and expertise in a supportive and dynamic team environment.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have a CACHE Level 3 Early Childhood Studies or equivalent qualification, as well as previous experience of working with children in a day nursery setting. They will also have good literacy and numeracy skills, as well as high-level communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and parent/carers.
