Job Summary

A dedicated and caring Early Years Nursery Practitioner is required to join our team at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-4 years in a busy nursery setting.

Main Responsibilities

To provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their physical, social, and emotional development.

To work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.

To maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to NHS and Ofsted guidelines.

Requirements

Essential

  • CACHE Level 3 Early Childhood Studies or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous post-qualifying experience of working with children 0-4 years in a day nursery setting.

Desirable

  • Basic Food Hygiene certification.
  • Current Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
  • Safeguarding or other relevant training applicable to Early Years.

Skills and Abilities

Essential

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable

  • Ability to provide developmentally appropriate activities and experiences.
