About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wine Sales Account Manager to join our team in London. As a specialist in the gastropubs sector, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our existing customers, as well as identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the London gastropubs market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at our existing customer base, including wine buyers and owners
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and developing new relationships with potential customers
  • Provide expert knowledge and support to customers on our wine portfolio, including product information, tasting notes, and pairing suggestions
  • Work closely with our internal teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in wine sales, preferably in the on-trade sector
  • Strong knowledge of wine, including wine regions, grape varieties, and production methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Proven track record of sales success, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics
  • WSET Level 2 certification or higher
