We are seeking an experienced Assistant Bar Manager to join our team at a 4-star hotel in Farnborough. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in beverage service and management.

About the Role

This role involves assisting the Bar Manager with overseeing the day-to-day running of the bar, including supervising staff and ensuring excellent customer service. As an Assistant Bar Manager, you will have previous experience in a similar environment and be able to demonstrate strong commercial skills and flexibility.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Previous experience in a similar role within the industry
  2. Strong knowledge of bartending, cocktails, hospitality, food/beverage safety, and guest service principles
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
  6. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
