About the Role

Carmichael UK is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance and Compliance Engineer to join our team on a major infrastructure project.

As a Quality Assurance and Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing quality control and assurance requirements, working closely with construction delivery teams to balance these against programme constraints and effective methods of delivery.

You will support the delivery of all section-related construction phase quality, assurance, and completions-related activities to ensure the timely handover of project assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement quality control and assurance requirements
  • Work closely with construction delivery teams to balance quality requirements against programme constraints
  • Support the delivery of construction phase quality, assurance, and completions-related activities
  • Ensure timely handover of project assets
Requirements
  • Competent Quality and/or Handover (Completions) Engineer with proven experience in implementing quality control and assurance requirements
  • Very good knowledge and practical application of quality control, quality assurance, or handover best practice strategies and interventions
  • Experience of using digital systems to support quality and completions record keeping for projects
  • Flexible approach to managing, prioritizing, and delivering to deadlines in a demanding environment
  • Degree, Bachelor's, MSc, or HND in Civil Engineering or Construction-related degree
