Job Title: Digital Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Systems Engineer to join our team at Optamor. As a key member of our Engineering Team, you will be responsible for designing and developing software-controlled vehicle features, ensuring seamless integration with electrical and software architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Concurrently engineer EVs, focusing on defining and delivering software vehicle features.
  2. Own and manage complex distributed vehicle features, from definition to delivery, in Chassis, Body, Powertrain, Autonomous Drive, Digital Cockpit, Infotainment, and Connectivity domains.
  3. Collaborate with Electrical and Software architecture teams to ensure vehicle features and interfaces align with the Electrical Architecture, and meet quality, safety, and legal requirements.
  4. Support Project Engineers and Tier 1 suppliers, ensuring a common understanding of vehicle software features and their interfaces.
  5. Work closely with the Digital Architecture team to ensure network database updates for distributed functions are correctly specified and implemented.
  6. Collaborate with the Verification and Validation team to ensure test strategies and plans provide sufficient coverage at different project stages.
  7. Manage engineering changes and issues during the engineering lifecycle.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant experience in systems engineering delivering software-controlled, distributed functions from conception to launch within an automotive engineering environment.
  2. Experience delivering vehicle components and functions in at least one domain (Chassis, Body, Powertrain, AD, Digital Cockpit, Infotainment, and Connectivity).
