Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Engineer to join our team in the North of England, covering the M62 corridor. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with technical expertise to work with our customers, providing support and solutions to their needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site analysis of products in use, making adjustments as required
  • Take samples for analysis and report results to customers
  • Install and maintain equipment
  • Carry out on-site training with customer employees
  • Hold technical review meetings with customers
  • Identify new opportunities for products and services at existing customers
  • Work with the sales team to set up and monitor agreed KPIs for product trials
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective customers

Requirements:

  • Technical expertise in installing, maintaining, or servicing equipment, ideally in a manufacturing or shop floor environment
  • Customer-facing skills and ability to build rapport and relationships with a customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to produce management reports and customer reports while working closely with other departments

What's On Offer:

  • Competitive salary in the region of £38,000 (negotiable)
  • Company car and private miles paid
  • Holiday entitlement: 25 days (increasing by 1 day per year for 5 years), plus Christmas holidays
  • Commission (uncapped, on average £3k - £7k)
  • Mobile phone and Laptop/Tablet device
