We are seeking a highly skilled Cabling Infrastructure Project Lead to join our team at ExcelRedstone, a leading independent technology partner and global integrator.

About the Role

As a Cabling Infrastructure Project Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing small to medium-sized cabling projects or elements of large projects under the control of a Project Manager. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all cable installations meet specifications, are completed on time, and adhere to ExcelRedstone's quality standards.

You will lead a team of supervisors and engineers, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to excel in their roles. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing stock effectively, ordering materials as required, and compiling progress reports to keep stakeholders informed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of project execution, ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and quality standards;
  • Team management, providing guidance and support to supervisors and engineers;
  • Effective stock management, including material ordering and inventory control;
  • Progress reporting, communicating updates to stakeholders;
  • Quality assurance, conducting checks to ensure compliance with standards;
  • Site drawing updates, maintaining accurate records;
  • Client communication, representing the company at meetings and documenting discussions;
  • Documentation creation, producing process guides and operations manuals.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in the cabling infrastructure industry;
  • Strong understanding of cabling installation practices;
  • Ability to organize teams and manage workload;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
