Principal Systems Engineer - Automotive

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Engineer to join our expanding Electrical and Electronic department at an OEM based in an outstanding new facility in the Warwick area. As a key member of our team, you will be involved in a range of new vehicle development programmes for passenger EV's for the European market.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and integrate Electrical and Electronic systems in the domains of ADAS/AD, HVAC, and Body systems.
  2. Support the delivery of System Engineering artifacts through the complete V-cycle.
  3. Apply model-based design and model-based systems engineering techniques.
  4. Conduct analysis and benchmarking of features available in the market.
  5. Design and test hardware and software solutions on bench (e.g., MIL/SIL/HIL) and vehicle using commercial solutions such as simulation and validation tools.
  6. Support the delivery of Engineering sign off through DVP and report DV progress from conception to test execution.
  7. Develop and test software using at least one of C/C++/Python/Matlab/Simulink.
  8. Proven experience with Systems Engineering processes and methods, development, prototyping, and testing of control strategies.
  9. Experience with data acquisition and analysis of large volumes of data.
  10. Practical experience of automotive electrical and electronic systems.
