Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems Submarines. As a key member of our Systems Engineering Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of design solutions and ensuring the delivery of high-quality systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of design solutions to meet project or business milestones, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.
  • Develop and manage requirements specific to systems or products, and/or across systems of systems, platforms, or programmes.
  • Ensure comprehensive design proving evidence is captured within requirements management tools and endorsed by the appropriate authority.
  • Support the development of estimates for scope of work and resources required to deliver projects, supporting bids, proposal development, and project planning activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve domain knowledge and subject matter expertise.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and practices.
  • Understanding of the engineering lifecycle.
