Instructor in Electrical Engineering
Location: East Sussex
Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 based on experience + Training, Progression & Benefits

Are you seeking a rewarding role where you can leverage your expertise in Electrical/Electronic Engineering to motivate and educate aspiring engineers?

Our client, a reputable Small Private Training Company with over 30 years of experience in delivering high-quality engineering apprenticeship programs, is currently looking for a committed Electrical Engineering Instructor to impart their knowledge and skills.

They are open to candidates interested in either a part-time or full-time permanent position.

Job Responsibilities
  • Instruct and mentor apprentices at levels 2-3 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Deliver dynamic and interactive lessons, encompassing both theoretical and practical components
  • Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on student performance
  • Develop and refresh course materials to maintain relevance and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience
Key Duties
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to a diverse group of learners
  • Offer support and guidance to apprentices throughout their educational journey
  • Assess and review student submissions to ensure they meet established standards
  • Maintain comprehensive records of student progress and accomplishments
  • Engage with industry professionals to enrich the apprenticeship program
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Possess a relevant qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Demonstrate significant industry experience in a related area
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Have a solid understanding of electrical and electronic principles
  • Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles
