Radio Frequency Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled graduate engineer to join our team in Cambridge. As a Radio Frequency Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing software-defined radio (SDR) products, including cellular base stations, test and measurement equipment, and other specialized radio systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture and analyse customer requirements to inform system designs.
  • Develop signal processing algorithms in Verilog for FPGAs.
  • Create embedded software in C/C++ for proprietary hardware.
  • Design and develop tools for internal and customer use.
  • Test and debug systems to resolve issues and ensure quality.

Requirements:

  • A 2:1 degree (or equivalent qualification) in an Engineering discipline.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language, ideally C.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of digital signal processing and communication systems.
  • Experience with digital design using Verilog or VHDL.
  • Familiarity with mobile telephony systems such as 5GNR, LTE, UMTS, and GSM.
  • Experience with Matlab.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the growth of our company. The expected salary for this role is £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus bonus and benefits package.
