Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic software company. As a key member of our team, you will lead and be responsible for the process of gathering, understanding, and documenting business requirements for a business-wide software transformation project.
As a senior role, you will be expected to take responsibility for the accuracy and effectiveness of the entire process of gathering requirements, ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged, consulted, and informed on what is an enterprise-scale, multi-year project. You will act as the main liaison between the business stakeholders and the technical delivery teams, ensuring that software development projects meet the needs and objectives of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for software development projects. Conduct interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing systems to understand user needs and business objectives.
- Documentation: Create clear and concise documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, use cases, and user stories. Ensure that all documentation is comprehensive, accurate, and easily understandable by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimisation. Work closely with stakeholders to define and document future state processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
- Testing Assurance: Work with the Software Testing teams to ensure that technical testing provides the appropriate coverage and detail to meet business requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business analysis and software development. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our development methodologies and practices.
