Equipment Technician

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faulty equipment, providing technical support and advice, and promoting the service business.
This role involves:
- Providing technical support and advice to customers, distributors, and colleagues via phone, email, and site visits
- Liaising with customers on logistics, including shipment of new instruments and returns
- Diagnostics and repair of faulty instruments within Turnaround Time targets
- Completing service reports and escalating cases when necessary
- Sales of contracts and service parts
- Installation and training of customers on equipment usage
We require the following skills and qualifications:
- Significant experience in a relevant occupation or HNC/HND in mechanical or electrical subjects
- A full UK driving license
- Good color perception and ability to pass a color perception test
- Computer literacy (MS Office) and ability to connect to the internet and operate email remote sites
Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
