Job Description

As an Area Sales Manager for Locking Systems, you will be responsible for selling high-end manufactured multi-point locking systems to window and door fabricators across the East Midlands and East Anglia regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell multi-point locking systems to composite, aluminium, PVC, composite fire doors, and timber fire doors fabricators.
  • Inherit an established customer base with a revenue target of £2.5m-£3m.
  • Manage relationships with existing customers and recruit new commercial accounts, each contributing a minimum of £50,000 at an acceptable margin.
  • Targeted sectors include retail and trade, new build, and alluvium fabricators, as well as winning specifications with architects, local authorities, M&E contractors, and main contractors.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager with:

  • Window and door hardware field sales experience from within the construction industry.
  • Ability to hit the ground running and inherit an established customer base.
  • Strong negotiation skills and consultative approach.
  • Comfortable with technical regulations and legislation around internal timber fire door locking systems.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be in the range of £45,000-£50,000 per annum, plus a performance-related bonus of £5,000-£10,000.
