Extrusion Production Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Operator to join our team at Aliaxis. As an Extrusion Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct yourself in a safe manner at all times, adhering to established Systems of Work.
- Produce required products using coiler, stillage, and saw operations, ensuring compliance with production programs.
- Monitor and record product quality, utilizing micrometers, PI tapes, verniers, and documentation.
- Maintain product quality by stopping and restarting lines as necessary.
- Keep supervision informed of equipment and product quality-related issues.
- Complete FLT and crane operations as required to expedite product dispatch.
- Participate in product changeovers, including tooling, material, lead tube, and line equipment.
- Conduct start-ups on product changeovers.
- Collaborate with the production team to cover meal breaks and maintain maximum machine efficiency.
Benefits
- Competitive salary of £34,400 per annum, inclusive of shift premium.
- Attendance bonus of £300 per quarter.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in extrusion.
- Technical understanding is an advantage.
- Ability to set and work to priorities.
- Self-disciplined with the ability to set and maintain high standards.
- Motivated to create a safe environment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
