About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Network Delivery Manager to join our team at the York Rail Operating Centre. As a key member of our control centre team, you will be responsible for leading and managing large teams, making strategic decisions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the railway.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in railway operations, leadership, and management. You will be able to effectively manage conflict, influence others, and work under pressure. You will also have a strong understanding of Network Rail's business and the key aspects of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage large teams within the control centre
  • Make strategic decisions to ensure the smooth operation of the railway
  • Develop and implement plans to improve performance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with senior executives and stakeholders to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with operational rules and regulations
